Après tant d'années de souffrance, Al mérite enfin de reposer en paix. Où qu'il se trouve, il veillera toujours sur vous tous, vous qu'il aimait tant! Il a eu son lot d'épreuves, mais aussi et surtout, d'amour de vous tous! Je garde un très bon souvenir de son sourire et de toutes les "jokes" qu'il faisait! Soyez courageux et que son souvenir vous apporte réconfort.

I wish to express my sincere sympathy for the passing of a great man Bursey was the right marker of our troop 25 RCMP 1969. Bursey was an amazing leader and took his role seriously I am sorry that we did not connect much over the years but he was and is always on my mind and forever in my heart ️

Our deepest condolence on Albert's passing . We have fond and happy memories of seeing you when we were all together with you in Ottawa . Lots of laughs . He was so comical . I will really miss all those informative and funny emails that i received . He was a remarkable and learned man , much like Grandfather Tom Fitzpatrick ,and he will be truly missed . May he Rest in peace . AMEN

Very sad to say goodbye to cousin Albert. He put up a good fight and lots of loved ones praying for him. Rest in peace with some dear family members to keep you company. Hugs and love to all.

Forever grateful to have spent time with Albert recently; it mattered. Having also spent time with you all was an absolute pleasure, in spite of the difficult circumstances. Sending our love to all of you at this difficult time. Even though I am the second youngest and Albert the oldest son, he gave me insight to the years growing up on Bell Island. Along with brothers Bill and Ed, the stories were memorable. He was so lucky to have raised such a loving and caring family. He certainly will be missed.

Heaven got the word he used to do security detail on Parliament Hill and they needed another good soul to keep the crowd back up there for the Pope. RIP brother.
