C'est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de
M. Michael Melvin
décédé le 20 août 2016 à Montréal, à l’âge de 58 ans. Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Diane Hamelin et le fils de feu John Melvin et de feu Joan Smith. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses frères et sa soeur: Tom (Elaine), Matthew (Sylvie) et Jane (Ken). Il laisse également une belle-soeur et deux beaux-frères: Denise, Michel (Jacqueline) et André (Paulette) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s, parents et ami(e)s. Il fut prédécédé par ses beaux-parents.
Une célébration de sa vie, en présence des cendres, aura lieu le samedi 17 septembre 2016 à 14h00 à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS située au 1369, boul. La Vérendrye O. à Gatineau. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 13h30.
Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation canadienne du Foie.
La famille désire remercier le personnel de l'Hopital de Gatineau plus particulièrement Dre. Clément et Dre. Lefebvre et surtout l'Hopital Saint-Luc de Montréal pour les bons soins prodigués.

My condolences to all your family on the loss of your brother........
Mike was a childhood friend of mine and I have fond memories of junior tennis at the DR club and learning to ski at the ol' double dip hill! We also shared the football field in high school for the not so mighty Mustangs. I remember him as easy going and funny guy ,I am sure he will be missed. Mike and I were class together often and were one of many "Mikes" from the era......
I have clear memory of hitting him the middle of the back with a backhand tennis shot in a doubles match that knocked him over the net.....probably in the summer of 67 or 68 he was so mad , he tossed his racket at me....... when he got up and caught his breath

I'm not able to attend the upcoming event but wish to pass along my condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working alongside Mike for the past 6 years. His had an exquisite sense of humor. His wit and easygoing manner was very much appreciated. He was a true 'gentleman'. RIP Mike

C'est avec regret que j'ai appris le décès de ton époux. Je t'offre mes condoléances. Tu peux communiquer avec moi en toute occasion, je ne pourrai assister aux funérailles, mais nous pouvons nous voir n'importe quand.Ca me ferait plaisir.
