We are sad to announce the death of our beloved father, Joseph “Josie” Anthony Holmes who passed away at the Wakefield hospital on Thursday January 20th, 2022 two days before his 86th birthday.
He was born on January 22nd, 1936 to Irene Groves Holmes and Daniel Holmes in Poltimore, Quebec.
Joseph is survived by his children Susan, James and Thomas (France), his grandchildren, Jamie (Jake), Jake, Sophie (Alexandre), Mathieu (Audrey Anne), Emily, Melany, great grandchildren Taryn and Alina, all of whom he loved dearly.
Predeceased by his parents Irene and Daniel, his loving wife Jean Collins, his sisters Helen and Gertrude, and his brothers-in law Kenny, Guy and Archie and his sister-in-law Jeanne D’Arc. Lovingly remembered by brother-in-law Gerald and sister-in-law Rita and many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, arrangements will be made at a later date.
