Eduardo Rodrigues

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eduardo, peacefully on March 21st, 2023 at the age of 87 years old. He was the beloved husband of Auralina Silva and the son of the late Joao Pereira Rodrigues and the late Albertina do Couto Pereira.

He leaves to mourn, his children: Aurelina (Antonio Silva) and Jose (Murielle Duclos); his grandchildren: Kathie, Natalie, Miguel and his great-grandson Tiago, as well as his wife's children: Alda, Elizabeth and Jose.  He also leaves behind his beloved sisters: Lurdes, Belmira and his brother Jose, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his first wife Odilia Furtado, his sisters Alice and Aurelina, his brother Joao (Lurdes) and his sister Ilda (Jose).

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 29^th, 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, 95, boulevard de la Cité des Jeunes, Gatineau, Québec. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30^th, at 11 am at Notre Dame de Fatima Church, 42 Hanson Street., Gatineau, Québec.

Special thank you to the team of Home and Community Care Support Services South West for their support, the medical team at Care Partners, as well as the PSW's from Ultima Care Services and Right at Home Care Services, for their care rendered during his home palliative care..
