Donna, Young (Cook)

1939-2021

Passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 81 years old. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Young. Daughter of the late Walter Cook and the late Phyllis Daugherty. Loving mother of Rick, Marlene (Lee), David (Liliane), Jeffrey (Chantal), Monica (Michael) and Tammie (Terry). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear sister of Patricia (late Gerald), Dian (Paul), Brenda and her brother Jimmy (Caroline). 

She was predeceased by her sisters Lynn, Barbara and her granddaughter Haley. A special thanks to the staff of the long term care at the Shawville Hospital. Thanks to Donna Blais and Paul Myers for the homecare and support they gave her. A memorial mass will be held at St-Stephen's Church on October 29, 2021 at 11 am (212 old Chelsea Rd, Chelsea). The family will receive condolences from 10 am. Instead of flowers you can donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
