BRUNET-Daniel Guy
Peacefully on July 4th 2017 at Gatineau Hospital at the age of 57, surrounded by family. Son of Helen Holmes and the late Guy Brunet, Danny was cherished husband of Valerie (Mallon), proud father of Amanda (Ghyslain Robert) and Adam, and Poppa to his sweeties Emma and Mia. Danny was big brother to Joann, Gerald, Richard (Cheryl), Louwanda and Lisa (John), who will dearly miss him, as will his many nieces and nephews.
A ceremony will be held on Sunday July 9 2017, at 10 AM, at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, on 95 boul. de la Cité-des-Jeunes, at Hull (Gatineau).
Give the gift of life in memory of Danny with the Red Cross or donations to charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

Dear Val,
It is with great sadness that I heard the passing of Dany this morning. Many prayers for you and your family in this difficult time. I keep a great memory of Dany helping me to choose the right tree and always being there to help who ever needed it! Megwetch for his life! I am grateful for his life!
I am there when ever you might need it. There will be a sweat lodge at my house next Sunday and I will say prayers for you and your family and a special goodbye to Dany.

It's hard to describe what Danny meant to us at the school. He kept everything just 'so.' He didn't even think about it, he always went above and beyond his job at the school. The sweetie reorganized the whole office so we may have more space. He did this all one year while I was away for the summer. I came back and it was a surprise. He did countless other favours for us at the school.
I loved having long chats with him and taking in his opinions on things. He had strong opinions because he wanted things to be fair for everyone. He won't be forgotten, we all have been touched in a positive way by him. Hugs to you Val. Xxx
