It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher ''Chris'' Donaghy on May 3rd, 2025, at the age of 40.
Beloved husband of Mélanie-Chantal Patry and son of Carol Butler (Dan) and of David Donaghy. He leaves behind his children: Madison and Caleigh; his grandchild: Elianne. He also leaves his brother: Shaun (Melissa) as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Wednesday May 14th, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 13:45 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. The family will receive the condolences at 12:00 pm. For those who may be unable to attend, a webcast will available at : https://fweb.tv/181151

I am just so deeply in shock.. I hadn’t spoken to him in a while.. We shared a nice friendship for a long time.. Sometimes losing track but always watching to be sure our ‘old friend’ is doing alright as life happened. I’m sending love and strength to hopefully help you to get through.

Chris, we knew eachother for a lot of years. You were like an uncle to my 2 kids, checking in every once in a while to see how we were doing. Wish you had more time. My thoughts are with your family as they navigate life with you gone :(

Such a great loss. Chris I have so many memories of us that the hurt at times is unbearable :( you were always the friend that was just there. You would give the shirt of your back to anyone. I will miss our chats and how you were always able to make me smile with your sarcasm. RIP buddy you are no longer suffering. Till we meet again ️
