It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of
Charlotte Lillian Rogers Mehkeri, at the age of 76, after a long battle with cancer which she faced with grace, strength, and courage.
She leaves behind her two loving children: Daniel and Leila (O’Neil) and her granddaughter Zahra. She also leaves her two beloved younger sisters: Brenda (Richard) and Arlene (Isaác) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Anwer Mehkeri, and her parents Earle and Effie Rogers.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the CHSLD d’Aylmer for their support and good care.
Flowers or memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are welcome.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, July 13th, at 1pm at Beechwood Cemetery, in Ottawa.

I offer my condolences to Charlotte's friends and family. I worked with Charlotte off and on over the past couple decades in HQ and as I am sure many colleagues will recall, Charlotte had a keen mind and a great sense of how to get things done. I recall fondly the many times her wit and humour could bring a chuckle and smile to your face. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are for you at this time.
