Augustinus Adiranus Antonius de Kok
October 18,1931 – June 9, 2022
Augustinus (Gus) 89, born in the Netherlands October 18, 1931, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on June 9, 2022 in Gatineau, QC.
He will be thoroughly missed by his loving wife Geppie (Wolthuizen) as well as by his stepchildren Terrie Leger (Marcel) and Daniel deWaard (Roni). He will forever remain a beloved Opa to his grandchildren Cynthia (Phil), Daniel, Nicholas (Aline), Tracie (Dan) and Amanda (Sebastien) and his great-grandchildren Nathan, Zoe, Eva, William and Davin. He was predeceased by his brother Toon, his sister Riet and his grandson Christopher.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St-Andrew’s United Church, 570 Avenue de Buckingham in Buckingham. Family will receive condolences as of 10:30.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Centre d’hébergement Vallée de la Lièvre for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Memory Loss Foundation of Canada helping to fund research and provide care for those living with dementia.
