It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray M. Lyons on 18 May 2017. After an eight-year battle with cancer, he has gone home to be with the Lord.
He was the son of Miriam Lyons and foster son to Fred and Pearl Rawlings. Beloved husband of Wendy Hanscomb and loving father of Catherine Lyons (Jacques) and Gail Lyons (Curtis). Dear grandfather of Colleen Cole (Carl), Samantha, Manon, Natasha, and Micheline and great-grandfather to Carl Jr, Cynthia, Cameron, Caleb, Nicholas Raymond and Mercedes . Step-father to Lynda Busby (Norton), Danny Perron (Elizabeth), and Rolly Perron (Jessica), step-grandfather to Melissa Martin (Chris), Tasha, Willard, Krystal, Chelsea and Wendy-Leigh and step-great-grandfather to Noah. He will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be will be at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Hull on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. Family will received condolences as of 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
