Jacques (Jack) Cayer passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Beloved husband to Marie Paule Cayer née Blondeau, loving father to Julie (Yves Soucie) and Brigitte (David Smith) and dear grandfather to William and David Charron. He will be missed by his sister Helen (Bryan Magladry), his brothers and sisters-in-law as well as by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred Cayer and Marguerite Robert, his brothers Robert, Alfred “Fred” (Louise Baizana) and his sister Theresa (the late Paul Sevigny).
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff at the Hull Hospital.
It was his wish to have a private family burial.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.

My deepest condolences to Marie and the Cayer Family. Jack and I got to know each other in the early 1960's at CBC Ottawa... Jack & I worked in the technical department. Many wonderful memories of our friendship over the years, many wonderful get-together with mutual friends. I would love to be able to do it all over again...!!!
